I’m a Systems Engineer with over 15 years of experience keeping government computer systems secure, efficient, and running smoothly. My expertise is in virtual infrastructure management, Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, and group policy administration—basically, I make sure everything behind the scenes works the way it’s supposed to.

I grew up in the rural outskirts of Suffolk, Virginia, after being born in Portsmouth. My childhood was full of outdoor adventures—exploring the woods, getting into whatever mischief nature allowed, and developing a curiosity that’s followed me into adulthood. That same curiosity is what led me to tech. There’s something about solving complex problems, automating tedious tasks, and making systems work better that’s always clicked for me.

Family has played a huge role in shaping who I am. I’m a fraternal twin and grew up in a busy household with my younger siblings. My mom, a dedicated RN, and my dad, a shipboard electrician turned program manager, showed me the value of hard work, problem-solving, and always striving to do something meaningful. That mindset stuck with me, and it’s why I take so much pride in what I do.

For me, systems engineering isn’t just about maintaining servers or writing scripts—it’s about making technology work for people. Security, efficiency, and reliability aren’t just buzzwords; they’re the foundation of everything I build and manage. Whether I’m scripting an automation in PowerShell, optimizing a virtual environment, or locking down security policies, I approach it with the same goal: to create systems that just work.

I’m always looking to learn, explore, and push boundaries, whether it’s diving into new technologies, mentoring others, or just finding ways to make IT a little better. If you’re into tech, security, or just enjoy solving interesting problems, stick around—I think we’ll have plenty to talk about.

Hey there, and welcome to my little corner of the cloud.
